The members of The Quilting Bee forum on Delphi Forums , have continued to support the Portland Community College, Cascade Campus Adopt-a-Family project, put on yearly by the Associated Student Body of PCC (ASPCC). Our support comes through quilts. Our goal is to make one quilt for every child in the project through age 19.
This year there were 23 families in the program with 63 children, ages from seven months to 19. Each child received a quilt. There were also five kids who were 20 or older; each of those kids received a pillowcase. Many of the younger children also received a pillowcase.
These are the quilts we provided for the children (click on thumbnail for a larger view):

Now lets start on 2015! You do not need to be a member of the Quilting Forum in order to participate. All quilts must be made from 100% cotton, but can be backed with fleece. Each quilt is at least 40x54 inches, up to no larger than twin size. The majority of the quilts are small lap-sized, but the bigger kids need larger quilts. It can be quilted in any reasonable manner. Tied, machine quilted--plain or fancy--or handquilted. It must be washed after completion. Send them to me by the last week of November.
