We've remodeled the bathroom twice. The first remodel was done badly; we had leaking issues with the shower. It is simply a beautiful space now, with gorgeous tile work and beadboard wainscotting. The look and feel is turn of the century with all the modern needs.

The greatest aspect of the first remodel was removing the bathtub and installing a large shower. The original bathroom had a small corner shower (where the light hangs over the cabinet in this picture) and an enclosed bathtub. When we had to redo the bath again, we created a great shower space. The river rock flooring is a nice feature.

The area behind the shower creates a nice private space for the toilet.
